Most Expensive UNION ARENA: Demon Slayer Cards
Demon Slayer is here and it’s a pretty cool set especially for collectors.
Already, cards are popping up online for sale, including some of the most expensive cards in the set.
Which one of these reigns supreme?
Below, I’ll be taking you through each of the Demon Slayer chase cards and highlighting what kind of value they are likely to get on the secondary card market after the set has been out for a bit.
#1 Taniro Kamado SR *** Serialized
The above pictured card is actually my very own Tanjiro Serialized card that I pulled from one of two boxes I got during the prerelease period of Demon Slayer. I quickly sold the card to see how much it is worth and was able to get $1600 for it. From other research I’ve done and other sellers I’ve talked to, it seems like this card is probably worth somewhere around $1800 depending on various factors.
That’s an insane amount of money for a card from a new card game like UNION ARENA, and definitely a nice dream to chase as you’re opening these packs.
#2 Tanjiro Kamado SR***
Next up is the Tanjiro Kamado SR*** without the serial number. This card is still going to be worth several hundreds of dollars based on what we’ve seen in the past. I would put this card’s potential value around the $300-400 range.
Tanjiro SR**
While it’s now triple star rare card, Tanjiro’s SR** version should also be quite pricey. If you’re lucky enough to pull one of these, you could be looking at somewhere between $200-$300 depending on how the market goes.
#4 Muzan Kibutsuji
Muzan Kibutsuji is a powerful card and an intriguguing character in the anime. Given his huge status among fans and the fact he’s an SR**, I would imagine this card will sell well even after initial release. I’d put this card’s value around $175.
#5 Nezuko SR**
Last on this list of the most expensive Demon Slayer cards is Nezuko. Nezuko is a very popular character in Demon Slayer despite the fact she doesn’t talk a lot. She’s always got Tanjiro’s back, however, and she’s a good demon which is rare to say the least. While I’ve put this card last on the list, it could surprise us and move even further up depending on Nezuko’s popularity fairs versus the others. Right now my guess would be that Nezuko will go for around $125 once the dust clears.
Demon Slayer is a solid set. The top rarity cards are gorgeous and the serialized Tanjiro card is the most gorgeous I’ve ever held. That combined with interesting gameplay mechanics entering the game and the already popular new Tanjiro/Nezuko deck makes Demon Slayer fun, playable and exciting!
